How we do it

We believe that only costumes of high quality and artistry can actually flow, drape, flare, and sprawl with the dancer’s body, making you appear visually stunning on stage while also providing the figure fitting comfort and ease you deserve. And so, a lot of care goes into the choice of fabric and craftsmanship to suit the specifics of every type of dance. We’d love to work with you to build your idea from conception, and help bring it to fruition. May the confluence of creative expression from the maker and the performer move hearts, blow minds, and blaze new trails…

Why we do it

Like any good business worth its salt, Dance Baby Dance (DBD) was born out of a deeply felt need to fill a gap. I’m a mom of two lovely and loving girls. With both my daughters enrolled in dance schools, I constantly found myself running from pillar to post trying to put together costumes for their performances at short notice. I realized that most parents and performers found themselves in a similar predicament frequently. With a natural flair for design and a passion for dress up and dance, I started creating costumes not just for my daughters, but also for other kids and parents I met at the dance schools. Encouraged by the appreciation and gratitude I saw on their faces, I decided to launch my own rental costume business, dreaming of making dance costume hunting a cinch for everyone involved – the dance schools, teachers, parents, and the kids themselves.
